Your primary responsibility is to help people in hurricane-prone communities by providing them with information to help them prepare for this risk. Your report will also be used by non-profit organizations to prepare for upcoming hurricane relief related costs. In the aftermath of hurricanes, nonprofit organizations such as the Red Cross have sheltered thousands of people, sent out emergency response vehicles into neighborhoods to deliver meals, snacks and relief items, and have volunteers provide emotional and spiritual support in addition to health services.  In order to perform these functions, these organizations are dependent on donations from businesses and individuals. Your report will inform these businesses and help promote awareness. The hope is that your work will encourage them to continue their donations for future relief efforts.  Your assessment will consist of two parts:  Task 1: Produce data and a report that analyzes the probability of a minor or major occurring hurricane at a particular location to inform organizations so they can allocate funds appropriately.  *To be completed as a take-home assessment   Task 2: Build a device (an anemometer) that can track wind speeds. The purpose of this device is to act as a primary or secondary alarm that can help notify individuals of wind speeds so they can be informed on the strength of the hurricane. Copper is a valuable resource that is valued for its ability to conduct electricity and heat, which makes it great for wiring and c
ookware. Because copper corrodes slowly, it can be used in many different materials such as roofs, pipes, and rain spouts on buildings.
    
Copper has been mined and used for thousands of years, however, the deposits where copper has been mined is dwindling. Because the scarcity of copper is growing, with a continuing need for the resource, the price of copper is rising.

Because copper has become more and more difficult to mine, more instances of theft of copper, mostly in the form of wiring, has occurred. People have turned to stealing wire and selling it on the black market in China, South Korea, and Malaysia. It has been called “poor man’s gold” and as the need for copper continues to rise, more instances of copper theft will also continue to rise.

The natural resources are basically divided in to renewable resources and nonrenewable resources. The renewable resources are those which can be produced and used again and again while nonrenewable resources cannot be produced again in a given time frame and hence these need to be conserved. Copper is one of the widely used renewable natural resource. It is extremely useful in the electricity generation as a conductor of electricity. Copper can help in conduction of very high voltage of electricity. It is renewable resource as it can be reused and recycled several times without the loss of performance. Hence, the availability of copper is always abundant to use for carrying out the functions of energy generation and other function also.
