The student’s privacy in schools goes through a very thin line of distinction between violation and non-violation of norms. For students, the reasonable means of searches will be having official warrant or right under fourth amendment and they should be driven from a strong sense that student has committed potential unlawful act, as per the academic provisions. However, unreasonable search will be like offending the dignity of the student in public without having strong cause; this may be sourced from the personal biases such as racism or jealousy for the good academic profile of the student as well.
