Introduction
Moderation is the key and there is no avoidance to moderation. Every food item when consumed in moderation would prove beneficial for the body and red meat is no exception. All kind of meats are good for body depending upon the quantity, type and ways of consumption. This argumentative paper will discuss the healthy and unhealthy aspects of consuming red meat.

1. Red meat is carcinogenic
There are no specific evidences in order to support the fact that red meat consumption can cause cancer. This is majorly because meat does not contain any carcinogenic components; however, cooking or preparing methods may add carcinogens to the meat. At high temperatures, fat melts and may drips to hot cooking surfaces, which leads to production of toxic compounds such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
