Decision-Making within the Global Marketplace
Introduction
There are significant aspects of the Saudi Vision 2030, especially those that are related to sustainability, and the ability for businesses and society to become pillars for each other as well. It would thus be essential for all members of the business community to look after their employees, and improve the area around them through their business or their CSR initiatives, improve the country as well as the environment as well (Neil & Sprusansky, 2017).
The Saudi Vision 2030 is one of the most important documents in the history of the country. The long-term goals and expectations of the country, which are also reflective of the goals and the capabilities and the strengths of the country have been outlined in the document. It is not just a vision for the public, and for government agencies, but a vision that can help in the improvement of all society as well (Mitchell & Alfuraih, 2018). The document has been outlined by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who is the current ruler of the kingdom. He is one of the most important people in the history of the country, since he is the ruler that can help in bringing Saudi Arabia to the modern era, and help in the expansion of the industries of the company so that the main source of income for Saudi Arabia would not have to be oil. The main outline of the document has been to convert the country from an oil-producing country to a global conglomerate as well.
The following document looks at some of the pillars of the Saudi Vision 2030, and how they can be applied to my professional career. It is a critical reflection on how some of the policies can be taken in lieu with the courses and can help in the expansion of my career. It with look at some of the critical theories of decision making in the international marketplace, and how they can be used as well.

Islamic Values
In order to become successful in business in Saudi Arabia, it is essential that the business plan be according to the Saudi Vision 2030. I would like to open my own conglomerate business, in respect to the foods and beverages industry, and thus, the plan for the business I am about to open would have to be in lieu with the Saudi Vision 2030. One of the main pillars of the Saudi vision 2030 has been the heart of Saudi Arabia as the centre of the Islamic worlds (Aina, Wafer, Ahmed & Alshuwaikhat, 2019). The country has become one of the strongholds of Islam, and is one of the most holy places in the world. The Saudi Vision 2030 has been in support of maintaining the country as a place where Islamic values are placed above anything else (Arabia, 2016). This would be helpful in looking at my business, and how it can benefit from the values. I would ensure that the food items that would be served by my company would be Halal, not just in the Middle Eastern region, but also in every country that we serve. All the items that the company serves would be according to Islamic values. It is the values of the company that help in the creation of culture, and culture often has a significant effect on the decision-making process. Whether the market for the company is Saudi Arabia or the United Sates of America, it would be essential my professional career to be based on the values that I have grown up with, which are also values that will ensure the success of my business in the country.
Global Investment Powerhouse
The second pillar that has been mentioned in the Saudi Vision 2030 has been to look at the country becoming a Global investment Powerhouse (“Saudi Vision 2030”, 2019). This has helped in looking at some of the successes of the business world. I think this would help in my professional career as a CEO, since I would have investments pouring into the company, which would ensure that I am able to expand the company. By having the company as a global powerhouse, I would help in increasing the revenue of the company. As a CEO, this would be beneficial for me, since an increase in revenue would also make the company become a global brand, which would increase my reputation with the firm as well.
Global Hub
One of the major elements of the Saudi Vision 2030 had been to ensure that Saudi Arabia becomes a major hub that is able to connect Asia, Africa and Europe (Nurunnabi, 2017). This would also be of importance to my future career, since it would help in ensuring that the company is able to expand. By having branches in major countries in the developing parts of Asia, such as in China and India, and in the African continent, such as Nairobi, as well as expanding into Europe, the company would be able to have a global presence, which would go a significant way in increasing the profits...
