CHCMGT005 Introduction to Facilitate Workplace Debriefing and Support Processes This unit is part of the Diploma of Community Services (Case Management), an interactive and supportive course that will guide you through a number of strategies when working with clients. Practical application will provide you with valuable real life industry experience that will allow you to build upon the skills and knowledge learned throughout the course. This includes implementing support processes to manage stress and emotional well being of self or colleagues working in varied health and community service contexts. It also involves facilitating structured debriefing sessions to colleagues following incidents with the potential impact on health and well being. CHCMGT005 Monitoring Stress and Wellbeing of Colleagues Stress is the body’s reaction to change. It is a natural occurrence that has developed as a biological response to dealing with changes to the environment around you. For short periods of time, stress is not harmful; however, if you experience stress over a long period of time or if the episodes are intense then stress can lead to illnesses.
