Human trafficking can otherwise be called modern-day slavery. It involves illegal transport of individuals through force or deception to engage in activities that benefit others financially. Human trafficking occurs in various forms and organ trafficking is one of its hidden ones. Trafficking for the removal of organs is one of the serious forms of exploitation. At a time when the number of individuals needing transplant is growing, it is natural that criminals are taking this opportunity to exploit both patients and potential donors (Ricard-Guay, 2015). While the activity as a whole is decorated as healthy, easy money, donation and “only solution”, there is serious risk to the health of both victims and donors.
