Recommendations to reduce flood risks
    To reduce the risk of life and property in Huston during devastating floods I would suggest that the process of urbanization should be controlled. Building and other infrastructure should not be created in a way which shall cover fields with soil and should not block the drainage system. It is important to improve the drainage system. Also, the government must invest on the training and development of the disaster management team so that they can help people to save their lives and survive such extreme and devastating conditions (Bera & Daněk, 2018).
