    According to the Gun Control Act of 1968 and U/S 18, the federal law prohibits any criminals convicted of any felony and any person who has been ever booked under the domestic violence protective order from owning a firearm. The purpose of this act is to ban the convicted who is involved in any criminal offense with respect to domest
ic violence from using any firearms (Department of Justice, 2013). The bill was passed in support of the Congress and was recognized by them on the fact that anyone who have attempted of violence against any loved one and also possesses undesirable risk, must be prohibited from owning any firearms. This prevention will help to protect the laws in the following ways:
A. It will prevent the person who have displayed domestic violence from acquiring a firearm.
B. It will act as a tool for not using the firearms during specific domestic violence situations and will lower the probability of lethal violence.
C. Finally, it will act as a tool of federal prosecution in certain circumstances where other alternatives have become unsuccessful.

1. The pros and cons of the sexual offenders registering with the local law enforcement department are as follows:
Pros: It protects the children and families from any sexual harms.
It helps to make and break the choice for the people in deciding the safe place.
It helps the police to investigate and recognize the suspect and their criminal records.
It also helps the people to know who are the offenders involved in sexual activities and becomes fully aware of the surroundings.
It provides a fear in the minds of the offenders due to the chances of being caught again on sexual harassment charges.
Cons: It increases the public sham.
It makes the offender difficult to find an employment due to past sexual offense
The criminal may be a minor, but the offense is serious in included as such in the register.
It takes away the offender’s rights of privacy (Gordon, 2017).
2. There are instances where the law enforcement agencies of San Jose Police Department have uploaded the list of sexual offenders on the internet. The information of the offenders consisted of the names, addresses and images of the registered sex offenders on the internet. But, in a famous case law of Packingham v. North Carolina, the US Supreme Court has declined the law which allowed the law enforcement agencies to post the information of the registered sex offenders on Facebook and Instagram. It was held that the offender has the freedom of speech, the right to hear and read and speak freely (England, 2022).
3. The pros are: The information of the specific sex offenders is easily available and accessible to the public.
There are instances where public are able to spot the sex offenders being involved in dangerous activities and violation of the paroles.
Citizens are able to know if there are any person living in the neighborhood being convicted of sexual offences.
It helps to protect the rights of innocent people by exposing the sex offenders.
The cons are: The records are often incomplete or inaccurate.
It may extend the sentences of the offenders
It makes the offender difficult to find a job
It raises concerns about vigilantism
It leads to networking among sexual hunters (Children’s Bureau Express, 2000).

    The officer who are responsible for probation and parole holds meetings with references to the cases which are specified by the recognized strategies for making a decision on the ultimate objectives and clearance of the probationer problems. They further suggest various recommendations which are valuable methods for treatment of the issues. They even held a counselling session with the director when the case or the situation is critical. Finally, it’s the parole and the probationary officer who contacts and communicates with various private offices for safeguarding their guidance and taking initiative for taking care of the issues of the probationer’s. The Probation of Offenders Act was created in 1958 which prohibits the juvenile offenders from being put behind the bars instead stooping them doing any forms of criminal offence through counselling and rehabilitation. Actually, the probation officer is a person appointed by the court who meets with the juvenile individual sentenced to imprisonment on a regular basis. Also, the probation officers handle the cases of the people who are perpetrators or involved in low-level crimes. By appointing a probation officer, the court is able to prevent the offenders from any forms of harsh imprisonment. These types of punishment may be house arrests, working from home, looking after the children and family members and participating in various behavioral changing programs (Rai, 2020).
