Student will develop a critical path analysis diagram and Gantt chart for an assigned industry project using Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
From this, student will develop necessary critical path network diagram and Gantt chart to reshape the loading diagram to ensure a manageable weekly load and optimize duration of the project.
However, to complete the assignment, following steps are to be followed
1. Assume and play a role of a Project manager.
2. Identify and form a virtual team.
3.  List your activities and duration/
4. Connect the activities with predecessors.
5. Prepare your Critical Path method (CPM)  network diagram and identify Early start (ES), Early Finish (EF), Late Start (LS), Late finish (LF) and Total Slack.
6. Prepare Gantt Chart.
7. Optimize total duration of the project
