Personal Experience NarrativeFor this assignment, you will write a personal narrative about an experience you have had with another culture that involved personal conflict that changed you.Four types of personal conflict you might consider are:• Human vs. Human• Human vs. Nature• Human vs. Society• Human vs. SelfChange is an essential aspect of the prompt. You can choose a positive or negative experience, but make sure this event, or series of events, is meaningful and relevant to you. Did it change your worldview? Did it make you re-evaluate your opinions of a certain group or groups of people?BE CAREFUL not to list a series of events and expect your audience to fill in the details. Show us! Use descriptive and meticulous language. Experiment with new forms. Try unusual sentence structures. Be daring! You should also make sure your narrative has sufficient conflict that was brought about by a clash with culture. While this could be a conflict within yourself, it is often easier to depict a conflict with another person or group of people.Your essay should be as long as it takes to suitably tell your story – however, your essay must be at least 850 words. Also, just because you reach 850 words does not mean your story is over – use the content of a narrative (Chapter 16) and the structure of an essay (Chapter 24) .Your grade will be based on the ideas mentioned above:• Vivid, expressive language usage• Change in your personal beliefs• Conflict between culturesIMPORTANT DETAILS:• You must email me by Sunday, February 24 for topic approval.
