The First Target was to initiate cable act of 1922 where they initiated the permanent citizenship of women who had married men of United States or other Asian immigrants (Nakano 2018). The immigrant act of 1924 only helped the men of the community but later, the initial of Japanese American citizens League there have been effective changes in political safety and community expansion for the people of Asian community at the gain citizenship rights. The organisation has marked various phenomenal changes during the World War 2 and the Civil rights movement of America. Because of the attack on Pearl Harbour the FBI started arresting people from Japanese American community especially leaders, priests, school teachers, Marshal art teachers and business owners for verification and many people were assigned to concentration camps where they had to stay under the vigilance of the government. Under the executive order 9066, an order signed by Franklin Roosevelt questioned the loyalty of the Asian American communities and the Japanese American citizens we did not participate in any active protest and prove their loyalty towards the United States by refraining from active riot (Nagata, Kim & Wu 2019). It helped them to gain a certain sense of acknowledgement from the American government and the league constantly getting more protection for the Japanese American settlers inside the concentration camp by providing them with basic amenities. This can be considered as one of the main victories that the organisation could gather bye define the service of US military. Even during the Civil Rights movement, the organisation made some legislative efforts to gain fundamental and civil rights for Japanese Americans. The main intention of the organisation was to establish the immigrants in American soil and owning them land and non-discriminatory status is that used to be the main problems of United States (Frampton 2018). The mission of the organisation is to be aware of the responsibilities as one of the oldest and largest Asian Pacific American civil rights organization. They have thrived to promote a world where there won't be any discrimination and diversity will promote honour and respect for fair and equal Social Justice for the Asian Americans. The mission of the Japanese American citizens League is to secure and maintain the Civil rights for the Asian Americans and all other victims of injustice and bigotry. The leadership of the organisation work in harmony with one another and to promote cultural educational and social values that need to be preserved by people of their communities. The leadership criteria do not follow any balance or any methods of protest and they have always been quite subtle and quiet in their way of establishing their rights and regulations for their community people. Their leadership works for the Heritage and Legacy of the Japanese American community in America and they contribute towards the benefit of the community and the racial problem that the people have to face. Action There are some activities that the organisation have taken part in two for the overall benefit of the people of the society where they have supported other human right aspects like same sex marriage. With the help of these accidents along with supporting their own community they have gained a certain trust from people and their support have come from all over America and across the globe. They have also worked for immigration Reform Asian issues that are another part of civil rights and spoken against military hazing detention of the National Defence authorisation act and the United Nations Security Council resolution of 1882 (Choi 2020). The help of their participation and community programs they have created their popularity for the benefit of the society. One of the most remarkable programs includes the Bridging Community Program where they have brought the Japanese and Asian American youth together with the Arab and Muslim American youths. This has been one of the most remarkable and progressive community programs that aim to create unity between different communities and people of different languages without any racial bias. These mention communities are the victims of recent ethnic by pottery from other people of American that is why they have created this community organisation for better empowerment of the youth and members of the communities. They have also engaged into certain workshops for the community members to attend and learn about the culture and empowerment (Adler 2019). It is to be believed that their vision towards a better future where the youth will learn about the colonial past and other racial and by what actions implemented by other communities of the country. Apart from that they have engaged to certain leadership training summits and youth leadership Summit which have been very beneficial for the youth of the community to become better and stronger for the future. The conferences talked about National Public policy issues among these communities as well as various strategy for elevating the current situation of the organisation and the communities. There are also engaged in to public speaking in national educational association and anti-defamation league that work with immigration reformation and the other policies that are beneficial for the students and their future. Hence, I have chosen this particular organization because the organization has an effective influence on the social aspect of America that has contributed to the movement for justice and civil rights which has changed the course of laws and regulations. The association has numerous contributions that have effectively touched many historical milestones in the country and especially for the Asian American community. Therefore, the organization is significant in the history of the United States in terms of the movement for fundamental rights and civil rights for the non-white community in America. The organization is known to have marked various phenomenal changes during the Second World War.
