Patient’s nutritional status improves with enteral/parenteral nutritional supplement as prescribed, as evidenced by proportional weight gain, adequate fluid volume status with improved skin turgor, improved urinary output to at least 30 mL/hr, and laboratory values such as total protein, albumin, iron, Hct, and Hgb that return to normal.
