Patient uses measures to increase comfort associated with injection such as the application of warm packs to the site of injection, as indicated and as ordered by the prescriber, to help relieve localized discomfort or alleviate any localized reactions. • Patient uses additional comfort measures such as eating small meals, controlling the environmental temperature, decreasing stimuli, increasing opportunity for rest, and using analgesics and antiinflammatory drugs as prescribed or recommended.
