Patient regains fluid volume status through replacement of at least 8 to 10 glasses/day or up to 3 L/day of water, unless contraindicated.
• Patient receives adequate fluid volume infusions with improvement of fluid and electrolyte status.
• Patient’s urinary output is at least 30 mL/hr. • Patient reports any dizziness, lethargy, confusion, disorientation, muscle weakness, irregular heart rhythm, and/ or abdominal cramping.
