Patient continues to show normal cardiac output while receiving diuretic therapy, as evidenced by vital signs, adequate intake, and output within normal limits (pulse between 60 and 100 beats/min; blood pressure 120/80 mm Hg or within normal parameters; urine output 30 mL/hr or higher).
• Patient has strong pedal pulses and warm, pink extremities with rapid capillary refill.
