PArt I: Read over the attachment, write a SWOT analysis. Example: Since I chose to be a business analyst for Google, in charge of solving a major router failure that impacted millions of users in the US, I will be sharing with you all a SWOT analysis I created that may help put things more in perspective. SWOT- offers individuals a chance to lay out all the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of a company in order to facilitate the job of decision-makers. Based on some of my personal knowledge of the company, combined with some good old fashioned internet provided information, I will be offering in my project the following SWOT analysis. S- popular search engine, biggest data collector and traffic generator around, offers free upgrades and software, significant revenue stream from many partnerships W- weak privacy policy, YouTube prices are too high compared to some competitors, Google’s revenue comes mainly from advertisements leaving the brand weak in many other areas, services are easy to hack O- potential to capitalize on new industries such as cloud computing, diversify revenue by entering new markets without leaning too much on advertisements, Android OS T-decline in market share, backlash from altering information with China on secret projects (Dragonfly), Google’s competition is growing especially in the cloud service sector leaving the company extremely vulnerable especially during these times. The SWOT analysis above gives a pretty detailed analysis of the company. If I have to keep in mind the problem I will be attempting to solve in my project, I would also add that since Google is one of the world’s most popular search engines and many individuals depend on its products and services to conduct everyday tasks, whenever there is a malfunction in one of its operating systems or a failure in one of its data centers, it affects millions of individuals by posing many challenges in work and home environments. In order to avoid having these problems, there should be routine maintenance and round the clock analysts and technicians to help fix any arising issues.
Part II: write short responses to the following posts (about 50-100 word for each)

Post 2: For the SWOT analysis, I will cover the NFL as a business. This is because my project follows the league and how they are dealing with the ongoing pandemic. S - most profitable sport in the USA, only league of the big 4 currently going on, have not had any official cancellations due to COVID and only had a few games moved around, have had great numbers in terms of special league subscriptions W- No central plan in regards to fans, no extra bye weeks or weeks at the end of the season to move games to, not strong relationship with its own players O - The league has the opportunity to have all eyes on their games if they can have the season continue on. They are the only league playing right now and stand to gain new fans who enjoy sports but are bored. T- The threat is obviously the Coronavirus. They have to plan on how to keep players safe, most importantly, as well as keep fans safe if they are planning on attending a game. They also have to find ways to change the schedule around if teams experience cases and find how to make up for the lost revenue of the season.
