Using the guidelines from the lecture and sample review, create a cover letter for your resume in full block format (accepted variation: heading can be designed as letterhead). - see the attachment and the link below.

Step 1: You can browse templates, but you probably will have more success if you type the basic format from class.
Step 2: Write yourheading/contact, the date, and the receiver’s addressin proper block format. Keep in mind, you are free to use your own style of “letterhead” for your contact information. For the receiver’s address (inside address), if you are unsure of the company information, search the Internet for address/contact information.
Step 3: Write asalutation(To Mr. Smith:). Remember to use a COLON.
Step 4: Write anintroductionsection that contains a clear purpose for your letter.
Cover Letter Tip: Be sure to include information about the job posting (position, location of post, date of post).
Step 5: Write yourbodysection that contains specific information regarding your purpose. Remember, this section can be divided into paragraphs as needed, depending on your detail categories.
Cover Letter Tip: Consider the highlighted duties and universal characteristics of the job posting, be sure to highlight duties and accomplishments in this section of the letter that coincide with the posting and your resume. Use your resume duties as a guide.
Step 6: Write a typicalconclusionline (follow up info).
Step 7: Find a goodclosingword/phrase. Follow the closing with a COMMA.
Step 8: Leave a gap of three spaces. Sign your letter using an electronic signaturein this white space.
Step 9:Type your name. Depending on your choice of letterhead/heading, you might want to include more information about yourself and/or additional contact information below your typed name.
Step 10: Add anenclosure line. See the variations on the samples and lectures.
