Part II:Main Assignment
COLLAPSE
"The great, unreported story in globalization is about power, not ideology. It's about how finance and business regularly, continuously insert their own self-interested deals and exceptions into rules and agreements that are then announced to the public as 'free trade.'" ~ William Greider

Superlative essays will: 1) cogently analyze the country's geopolitical situation within the international system; 2) identify major areas of change/trauma; and 3) critically assess whether globalization has been (mostly) "good" or "bad" for the state in question.
Part III: a thoughtful critique or substantive response to the post below (you may choose to take a critical stance or support an existing post with additional data, cases, and/or arguments)and your post require two citations at a minimum.
Post :Japan’s Globalization:
COLLAPSE
Japan's geography has prompted the country to alternate between periods of isolationism and expansion. Its geography is made up of mountainous volcanic islands located in the western Pacific Ocean. The lack of natural resources in Japan continues to force the country to seek abroad, leaving the country to balance between U.S. naval dominance and China's expanding maritime interests. AccordingWorldview, when Japan unifies under strong centralized control, it is often drawn toward the continent for resources and land. This happened in the late 1500s and again in the early 1900s, leading to World War II. Since the end of war, Japan has become a full fledged democracy, with a long-established record of elections, parliament, and civilian control of the military. We can see
The major areas of trauma that can occur in their globalization situation can happen if they happen to not be in good terms with neighboring countries. Japan has gigantic neighbors that are China and Russia. They are capable of causing series problems politically and even militarily. “For a time during the cold war, Japan and the rest of the world shivered at the thought of a possible global conflagration between the communist and anticommunist camps” (Kohno 2008). Now, without communism to unite them, and bouncing resources, China and Russia nevertheless still remain colossal, casting shadow over the entire Japanese territory.
As we alsoknow Japan has showered the world with high tech exports, like their automobiles, microelectronic products and gadgets. This provides the country with many economic opportunities that helps their country overcome their geographic location.Globalization has affected every part of Japans economy. These parts include the amount of international trade, the flow of international finance, consumers, government policies, labor markets and environment, and all for the good. At the end It’s nice to see mutualization where China is supplying Japan with raw materials and labor intensive manufactured products, and Japan is supplying China with high technology and high value-added products and services.
