In compiling this portfolio you should consider the following:
a. Identify five areas of public health guidance produced by NICE or similar organisation (5%)
Discuss one of the five areas you have identified considering the following
b. The role of NICE in producing the guidance (5%)
c. The name and role of any other organisations in producing the guidance (5%)
d. The public health guidance process involved (5)
e. Evaluate the social, political, economic and environmental contexts facilitating the public health guidance (15%)
f. Discuss whether or not the guidance you identified is cost-effective compared to other existing or previous guidance for the same health programme (5%)
g. Evaluate the implications of the guidance for public health (5%)
h. Include a reference list (5%)
