1. Group Contract Submission is necessary prior to commencing work in Module 5: Evaluating health promotion.

Task

1. Download the group contract template provided and use to devise your group contract (see word document below).


2. Post the contract toAssignment group forum(access in Assessment tile).


3. Each group member is to reply that they approve the contract, no later than 24 hours following submission of contract.Every group member needs to reply to the post, stating that:

  • They have participated in forming the procedures, expectations, and consequences stated in the contract.
  
  
  • They understand the contract and will abide by what has been outlined by the group.
  
  
  • They will accept the consequences if they do not abide by something stated in the contract
  
  
  
  

4.Nominate a group member to submit on group's behalf.

Once this has been submitted and approved by the staff, your group is ready to begin working.

You may find at some point that the group is not working as effectively as you had hoped. Do not delay in implementing the protocols established in the contract. Seek guidance from your designated tutor for your group if necessary.

Completing your Group Contract

Your team contract template is divided into four major sections:

• Establishing team procedures


• Identifying expectations


• Timelines and milestones


• Specifying the protocol and consequences for failing to follow procedures and fulfil expectations

Make your contract as specific as possible. Include a timeline, and who is assigned to do each step.

Groups will be available the day following Census date. You will work in groups of 3-5. If you are on clinical placement you must be well organised and clear about what is required of you and each other. Ensure you keep in touch with each other. Please make sure you address this issue in your team charter.
