A) Define : informed consent,mandated clients,

Informed Consent, Mandated Clients
Telemental health is a mental health practice of providing clinical healthcare services with the help of technology between the practitioner and the client, situated at different locations. The informed consent is the information provided to the patient regarding the treatment and asking them that whether they are going to participate or not. Mandate client can be defined that a person might have to undergo the treatment for a certain period of time. Confidentiality includes the guidelines to the therapist and psychologist that under no circumstances the information’s will be disclosed to anyone. The duty to warn takes place when the therapist needs to inform the patient regarding the risks associated with the treatment process. The duty to protect laws by the therapist is to protect the patient from the foreseeable harms that might take place during the treatment process. Informed consent is very much essential for the professionals because this will protect them from legalities. The legalities include the harm done to the patient during the treatment process, because there are risks associated with the treatment process and also there is a possibility of interrupted services, for which client cannot further claim or put any legal cases over the professionals. With respect to the client’s perspective, the informed consent will protect them from any such kind of treatment process, which is not included in the consent form, and will also protect them from unwanted treatment intervention (Gournaris).

In the child welfare system, the social workers strive towards helping the families to achieve a sense of safety, permanency, and the well-being of themselves and their families.
