Research three sources of parenting information and create a list of the key topics they address (such as getting one’s infant to sleep or eat better, or disciplining one’s child). What assumptions do they make about the role of nature versus nurture in parenting and how do these assumptions correspond to scientific research? Are there rival hypotheses about children’s behaviours that these sources neglected to consider?
