Introduction
Covid – 19 is new infectious disease caused by corona virus. It belongs to large family of virus that causes various infectious diseases like common cold, flu, SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome). The outbreak of this disease began in Wuhan China in December 2019, and now this disease declared as pandemic affecting almost all countries around the world. This disease spreads from one person to another via small droplets, expelled by a person suffering from Covid – 19.
This infectious enters into body through nose, mouth and eyes. Covid – 19 has low mortality rate and its condition differs from country to country. Eighty percent of covid – 19 patients can recover with this disease without any intensive medical care. While, it is dangerous for people who are suffering from some chronic condition like diabetes or any respiratory illness are vulnerable to corona virus. This disease directly infects lung tissue causing severe damage to it (Lai et al.).
How Government is Handling Covid-19 Situation
To arrest the spread of corona virus every government implied lockdown and social distancing practices whereas, each country have its own problem. For example, countries such as China and India are densely populated; governments have to impose strict lockdown, isolation and social distancing rules in these countries. In Japan, they have premium medical and health facility but also large segment of population belong to age more than 60 years. Corona virus is very dangerous for elder people.
In Europe, per person health facility is less. United States is in worst condition, it is in number one position because President Trump did not take the virus threats seriously and have not imposed any regulation early. Every country is battling with this enemy as this time enemy is invisible. Every government is fighting with this situation with practical assessment and scientific approach.
