Pamphlet Guidelines 1. Choose a microorganism (bacteria, virus, fungus, protozoan, or parasite) a. You will not be allowed to do a pamphlet on: i. HIV, herpes, candida, syphilis, gonorrhea, and HPV 2. Pamphlets should never be wordy, or contain too much detailed information. Some detail is needed but it is your job to decide what information should be presented to help the viewer gain a good understanding of what is being presented. 3. Pamphlets should be printed front and back in correct orientation (refer to other pamphlets to help guide you on orientation) 4. Font size (11-12 pts) 5. Font type (Arial or Times Roman) 6. Include images and/or figures that support information presented in the pamphlet. Print images in color when appropriate. 7. Images should not be stretched (appear distorted) but sized proportionally (meaning that length and width are increased proportionally) 8. Information should be bulleted when appropriate 9. Limit the use of lengthy sentences (information should be presented in concise manner, i.e. get to the point) 10. The reference section and your name should be put on the last page of the pamphlet
