A poster uses very few words with appropriate visuals and graphics. In this assessment, the students have to prepare a poster to present a message in a recent topic in IT Infrastructure. The poster should have clear structure and layout to support that message. The student has to conduct simple research to study the following topics in IT infrastructure: • Identify and classify the different components used in building an IT infrastructure. • The use of virtualization and Cloud computing to provide IT infrastructure solution to the organizations. • Illustrate dynamic scaling of applications with the support of Cloud computing. • Demonstrate the security issues related to the use of Cloud as an IT infrastructure solution. • Critique the role and responsibility of an IT infrastructure manager in an organization that use different types of IT services including virtualization and Cloud. Prepare a poster to demonstrate your ideas in range of visual techniques such as illustrations, diagrams, arrows or flow charts and cues such as bullet points, colour and design. Poster Development and Submission • Use any application software you are familiar with in the development of your poster, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, or any other software. • Set your poster page size to A3 and develop your poster. • Submit the PDF format file version of your poster at OLS.
