The type of enterprise is Apiary harvesting which is related to beekeeping, honey extraction, honey harvesting and processing and wax extraction. The enterprise will be setup in Tasmania, Australia as a hybrid company and will be formed as a result of collaboration between a partnership firm and a corporation. The business assets will be completely separate from the personal assets. There will be two members in the organization and will be registered under the Limited Liability Corporation Act under the Companies Act. These members will be responsible for management of the company and for dealing with any issues related to lawsuits if faced by the apiary company. One of the members will take care of the accounts and bookkeeping while the second member will manage the beekeeping and bee harvesting process.
Scope and size of the business
The scopes of the apiary business are huge as it will help to create employment opportunities in the communities, facilitate training on apiary harvesting to be organized by the Entomology Department of the Ministry of Agriculture; it is a decent work and will help to reduce the hunger of the community by selling of the apiary products like honey, comb and wax. There is high demand of pure honey which exists globally. The global apiculture market is estimated to grow at the rate of 4.3% from 2020 till 2025 (Business Wire; Global Apiculture Market Study 2020-2025). Also, there is huge demand for the apiary products in the developing countries also.
