Online social networking In April 2011, the Pew Internet and American Life Project surveyed 799 teenagers aged 12 to 17. Among the study’s findings, 93% of teen social media users have a Facebook account compared to only 24% who have a MySpace account. What does it mean to say that the difference in  proportions is “significant”?
