The purpose of the Educational & Professional Research assignment is for students to explore clinical education programs and understand the admission requirements and to connect students to professional organizations.
Understanding the admission requirements early in your undergraduate career is important for developing a competitive application to your desired program. Membership and participation
Explore one clinical education program and one professional organization in the career of your choice. You will submit one paragraph for each (one paragraph clinical education research and one paragraph professional organization research) documenting the items in

Clinical education research:
The first step is for students to review and select one clinical education program that that is a good fit and interests them. This program can be one to immediately attend after completing a degree in Health Science, or one to complete five or ten years upon gaining more work experience. Remember: this assignment is designed to meet personal goals, so imagine growing in this field, even if graduate school in not currently the plan. Once a program is selected, students are to research that program and
document what is the program specialty, what are the application and admission requirements, how much would it cost to attend, how long does it take to complete, which faculty could be particularly important to work with for growing your knowledge, and why this program could be a good fit with your short, intermediate or long-term goals.

One of the most important ways for students to develop as a professional and continue their education is by becoming involved in one or more professional organizations. document requirements for student membership, benefits to membership, requirements for continued membership, membership levels, and how this organization could support overall growth and development.
