Once upon a time a major television news group rigged a major US automaker’s truck to

explode upon impact with another object. The news group was trying to demonstrate that the

automaker had placed the gas tanks on the trucks in a dangerous location. Many of these

trucks’ gas tanks exploded when the trucks were involved in accidents. However the trucks the

news group were using for their production did not explode on contact.
The news group assisted the gas tanks exploding by adding explosive materials making the

trucks go up in flames upon impact.
The president of the news group stated he didn’t see any problem with this because the news

group was informing the public.
Do you see any problem with this?
Is this different from today’s “social media” situation today where truth is sometimes difficult

to identify?
