ompletely agree with Susan B. Anthony's argument that women's suffrage is something that should be treated from an egalitarian perspective. Women, being citizens, should have the right to vote. She gives several arguments in support of the point she wants to make. At the very outset, she points out that women should be treated equally as men. Even in the federal constitution, the word people has been mentioned, which includes both men and women. The United Constitution has repeatedly placed immense importance on providing a voice to the people of the United States, without any form of sexual discrimination (Susan-B-Anthony, 2020).
2. (a) The two reasons for which women should be allowed to vote, according to Anthony are The federal constitution of the United States that the people of America have the right to vote. That is to say, both men and women who are considered to be citizens have the right to vote for their government in the democracy (Susan-B-Anthony, 2020). In addition to that, there is no denying that women are persons. Therefore, women ought to be treated as citizens and they should not be restricted from exercising their right to vote. If a state decides to make a law based on sexual differences, then it will be deemed to be a dissention from their privileges and immunities.
