Occupy Wall Street In 2011, the Occupy Wall Street movement protested the concentration of wealth and power in the United States. A 2012 University of Delaware survey asked a random sample of 901 American adults whether they agreed or disagreed with the following statement: The Occupy Wall Street protesters offered new insights on social issues. Of those asked, 59.9% said they strongly or somewhat agreed with this statement. We know that if we could ask the entire population of American adults, we would not find that exactly 59.9% think that Wall Street workers would be willing to break the law to make money. Construct a 95% confidence interval for the true percentage of American adults who agree with the statement.
