Objective:

The purpose of this task is to provide an interim report on your team’s progress on their project. The   first minor report is also intended to provide an opportunity for your group to provide a critical reflection on your performance and to identify challenges and mitigating strategies.

The format of the report including headings and content will vary from team to team to suit each team’s specific project.  Accordingly, the marking guidelines may be refined to suit each project.

For the minor report students should:

•    Consult with their supervisor and lecturer to reach agreement on a marking guide that suits your team and project but is consistent with the template.  The guide should have sufficient detail to enable the lecturer to mark the report comprehensively without being so prescriptive that the lecturer cannot apply judgement or discretion.  Suggestions for customisations are included below.
•    The generic template for the marking guide is included in the table below.  You may liaise with your lecturer to add detail to the elements in the guideline to suit your project but the total marks for each element, content and presentation quality cannot be altered. Further notes are below.
