Notes on Chapter Seven: Support
· Support is a kind of factual evidence given in favor of the argument made by the author.
· Support is the concept through which, the value of an argument in writing is enhanced.
· Supports can be in form of personal experiences of the author that adheres to the argument made by him or it can be reference to a fact or a field research or even an interview result.
· Various types of sources, print or electronic are used to support the argument.
· A writer assumes something when he argues over a topic; all he or she needs further is to support his claim to establish perfect relationship between his or her support and with his or her audience.
· Audience is made agree over the claim that author has made through support.
