1. Sexual harassment is an unwanted sexual advance, as per the explanation provided by the National Human Rights Commission. It is the application for sexua
l favors or other inappropriate actions of a sexual nature which makes a person feel offended, embarrassed and/or threatened, when in the circumstances a rational individual would expect that reaction. The Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth) describes the essence and conditions of illegal sexual assault (Lehman & Flynn, 2008). It is also unconstitutional for a person to be victimized. The NHRC Australia interprets various dimensions of the sexual harassment through which, it can be determined that whether or not, sexual harassment is done under some specific condition or not. Some listed actions that are perceived as sexual harassment at workplace include, unnecessary touching, approaching with evil mentality, sexual temptations, passing of text or visuals that are obscene and forcing to participate in sexual activity.
