Task 1
Australia is the only nation spanning an entire continent in the world. This is one of Earth's largest nations. Moreover, over it, only third of Australia is drought, even though it is abundant in mineral resources and has a ton of agricultural farmland. In the south western and southeast, where the weather is more pleasant, most Australian settlements and farms are situated. In the northeast, thick rain forests occur. There are the country's biggest deserts in the popular outback (isolated country areas), where there have been blistering temperatures, no water and then almost no plants.
As mentioned by Gruber et al., the major mountain Range passes along the eastern and south - eastern side of Australia. Maintaining its isolation and limited population, which would be thinly spread around its coasts, is Australia's biggest geographic challenge. Almost all economic and diplomatic decisions are influenced by these variables. Distance and separation mean that Australia, for its economic stability, largely relies on commercial shipping. The Australian economy's rate of economic growth has significantly decelerated. In 2019, the Australian GDP grew by 3 percent.
It should not be called a poor rate for this. This pace is, in fact, completely in line with the Australian rate of growth in prior seasons. The concern, however, is that the Australian population is increasingly growing. As indicated by Zachreson et al., Australia is not resistant to the effects of rapid urbanization. Thus according UN statistics, the percentage of Australians live in urban areas was 89.4 percent in 2017; this is projected to increase to 90.1 percent by 2020 and to hit 90.6 percent by 2025. These statistics confirm that Australia is one of the world's most urbanised countries. In recognising the importance of the threat, the Australian government has initiated to take enormous, long-term preventive steps.
These are only directed towards the northern Australia. Coming to the cultural implications, as a benefits system, Australia is proud to address the needs of all Australians, but not those who benefit economically. This health system policy is based on the idea that an affluent society is a healthier society. The religious views of Australians are diverse; they make up 26%. Catholic being 20% Anglican and 19% are of all Christian denominations. Significant non-Christian beliefs constitute 6%, which include 0.8% of Hinduism, 1.7% of Islam, 2.1% of Buddhism and 0.5% of Judaism.
Task 2
The birth rate defined as the number of people born in the specific area. In Australia, the number of children born peaked at 312,174 in 2016. The figure for 2017 of 309,153was just slightly lower; it was the third-highest percentage on...
