No other criminal sanction stirs more debate than the death penalty. Criminological theories have certain assumptions that drive them, and it is important to realize that these assumptions can in fact drive policy.
Make an argument against the death penalty using either labeling theory or a form of conflict theory.
Each team member is expected to post their own individual argument and then respond with at least three (3) others on the other team. Recall this is a debate about the theories and their application not necessarily a moral debate about the sanction of death.
NOTE:Use at least two credible sources beyond the text material and discuss how you evaluated the credibility of the resources use
