The average time that the 40  people spent reading the paper was 12.4  minutes. At α=0.10

, is there a change in the average time an individual spends reading the newspaper? Find the 90%  confidence interval of the mean.

▼(Choose one) the null hypothesis.

(e)Summarize the results.

There ▼(Choose one) enough evidence to support the claim that there is a change in the average time an individual spends reading the newspaper.

Find the 90% confidence interval of the mean. Round the answers to nearest whole number.

(f)Do the results agree? Explain.

▼(Choose one) , since the confidence interval does not contain the hypothesized mean of 10.8 minutes, it ▼(Choose one) support the rejection of the null hypothesis and the answer from part 5.
