Flowchart Symbols
The flow chart diagram is used to show the overall flow of a system. With the help of flow chart diagram we can show how the process will take place in a system. The flow chart uses different types of symbols to show the process and their flow.
The Oval shape is used to show the start or end of the system.
Rectangle shows process
Arrow is used to show directional flow.
Diamond shape is used for decision.
Flowchart Example
In the given diagram it shows how we can write a program for the addition of 2 numbers.
The flow chart has Oval shape in the starting to start the algorithm and then it shows the process with which we can declare variables. The program will read the 2 variables and then addition of the variables will be stored in the 3rd variable. The sum will be displayed and then again, we are using Oval shape to show the end of the program.

The C language was developed in 1972 and the researcher was working at the Bell labs in New Jersey. This transition was performed from the first major languages to the major languages of the Today and this transaction took place between the Pascal and C. There are many similarities between the both languages. All the features are included in the sea language along with the case statements.
