Need help with this assignment involving timelines, attached are instructions and data set. At least one of the data sets provided has to be used, others can be located from the internet if the provided ones aren't good.

You will analyze time series data, both data measures and lists of discrete event.  This is an individual assignment.  While you may discuss your ideas with others, the completed assignment should be your own work. 1. Select at least four data series from, Timelinedatasets.xls (on ELMS). Follow the links on the file to download the datasets. You must include a mix of numeric measures and discrete events, so consider that in selecting your mix of data.   2. Clean/parse/edit the data until the for time series appear in one consolidated data sheet (excel or .csv). Bring disparate time scales into alignment. This cleaned dataset is your first deliverable.   3. Use visualizations to analyze the time series. 3a. Create at least one timeline that includes at three or more data layers; 3b.  Create an animation (can be done as a series of slides, or through more sophisticated software) of one or more data layers; 3c.  Create a static (or interactive) graphic that encodes time as a visual variable other than position (so, anything that isn't a timeline); 3d.  Create a static (or interactive) graphic that shows the results of time's passing in some kind of index (such as change over time, percentage change over time, ratio of start value to final value, or others). 3e.  All final graphics should include annotations that highlight some of your findings.   4. Write about your process and findings. 4a. Include your hand drawn idea sketches; 4b. Discuss why you chose the data series in your final output, as well as a discussion of data you looked at but chose not to use; 4c.  Discuss what connections you saw amongst your data series/event lists. 4d. If your project is not interactive, please discuss what additional data you would layer in with interactivity, and what tasks interactivity would provide your users.     Turn in your final work through any file formats you find convenient, so long as they include your graphics, sketches, your cleaned data file (excel or .csv), and write up.
