NADP Data (Appendix C.3). In Chapter 4 Project 2, you examined the most recent data for pH (PH_C). In this project, you want to compare the 19941996 values (PH_A) to those for 20142016 to see if pH values have risen. You want to do this separately for sites east and west of the Mississippi, and then compare the changes for the two regions. Remember that very acid rain is defined as having pH below 5.0, and you have an interest in the frequency of these events, in addition to the usual means and standard deviations. Use both graphical and tabular summaries of the data, accompanying them with appropriate tests to say whether apparent differences are real.
