What am I required to do in this assignment? Write a Reflective Diary on ‘how the culture of your favorite holiday destination has inspired you’. In the golden words of John Donne, "No man is an island, entire of itself", essentially implying that in life no individual can survive alone whether professionally or personally. I feel it is very relevant as I reflect my journey through Spain (Prentice, W., 2004).
What did I like the most in this Holiday Destination - Spain
One of the greatest beauties of nature is to learn by doing and I am one of those people who loves to explore new cities, places and culture. I think one of the best trips I have had so far is in Spain. Indeed, like the majority of people, I have a list of places to visit before I die, kind of like a bucket-list that spanning through globe. Always witnessed the aura of Spain in the movies and series which used catch my attention every time. Spain as a country has a rich culture along with vibrant past and present. Before visiting Spain, I performed some research and read about the country and asked my friends for reviews. Everyone suggested that it will at least require one week to fully explore the city and absorb the culture. However, I extended my trip for another week to completely immerse in the culture of this gorgeous place. It is rightly said one can never judge the place until one visits and experience it for oneself. I strongly feel that one of the most magical things about the travel is that you are infused with the essence of the culture in the roots. Specifically, on this holiday to Spain, I got the wonderful opportunity to explore the city, interact with locals, absorb and comprehend the culture. Spain happens to be one of the well-known cities in Madrid. Spain is the second largest country in the Europe after France. Geographically it covers around 506,000 square kilometres and includes Canary Islands and Spanish territories along the North African costlines...
