USES OF APPLICATION & VALUES FOR “FORMAL RESEARCH” AND A “BUSINESS PROPOSAL” When comparing the two forms of reports (business proposals and formal researches) it is necessary to take note of the fact that formal research is a theoretical approach while a business proposal is a practical approach. (Bezerman & Moore, 2009) states “researchers have found that people rely on a number or simplifying strategies, when making decisions.” Differences: Formal research is majorly provided with funds donated by the public and various institutions of learning and a number of government bodies and is APA formatted. The conclusion is added to the knowledge pool in the discipline researched. On the other hand, some business proposals are by business oriented firms if the research results will benefit their firms in terms of raking in income and achieving the goals of such institutions. The business proposal sometimes has proprietary, an Executive Summary and an abstract. In most cases, the formal research points out specific roles that HR professionals can play in achieving the set goals of an organization. On the other hand, business proposal match the identified roles into various proposals whose aim is to solve HR associated problems. Formal researches are often based on previous researches while business proposals often tackle the problems head on with an aim of solving them. Proposals put in consideration conducted researches when creating problem solving strategies (Sekaran & Bougie, 2010). Results or findings from formal researches are usually verified by conducting experiments. On the other hand, business proposals have results that can only be seen after the proposal has been implemented. The results can either solve the targeted problem, or not. Business proposals, as the name might suggest, uses information obtained from the business itself. Contrary to this, formal researches use scholarly articles, with the most recent findings, to get information. The...

Abstract
Beforehand, it was acknowledged that in contrary to the hypothesis, "There is no relationship
between customer contentment and loyalty", the literature review discovered that there was a

very apparent relationship between customer contentment and loyalty. In planning for testing of
the hypothesis, we propose two variables. The variables used in generating the data are
motivation and good attention. The relationship amid motivation and good attention was
considered between fifteen subjects. By collecting the random sample of test data, we were able
to conduct the hypothesis testing; thus, we conclude with the methods used to accept or reject the
hypotheses.
When considering the method for researching and data gathering, the 'sample method'
will be utilized as it characterizes a recognizable method of quantitative research. During survey
studies, researchers pick sample populations and administer standardized questions to be asked.
Utilizing these surveys, we can gather data from both large and small groups. (Sekaran, 2003) In
our study, a data set of fifteen subjects was surveyed, each provided with twenty-two inquiries on
the basis of the variables of motivation and good attention. We were able to ascertain a variety of
projected values to test the hypotheses, so that we could either disagree or agree with the
projected accounts.
Some of the advantages and disadvantages of using a survey can be seen in the
illustration below:
When utilizing random number generators, we created replicated data for the fifteen
subjects on the basis of the two variables which were chosen: motivation and good attention.
These variables were set up to produce the most suitable information in the hypothesis test.
Definition of Problem:
1) To what scale does motivation affect customer satisfaction?
2) To what scale does good attention affect loyalty?
The purpose for a hypothesis test is to appropriately examine two distinctive...
