Essay Question 1
According to me, student should have been purchased the chickens from a single breeder and also ensured that these were from same breed. In fact, such kind of comparative analysis studies could get successful only when the research subjects and conditions are similar.
It might be understood via the fact that the genotype of a particular breed may govern a characteristic in quite different way than genotype of another breed. Then, it would be difficult to find out that which change was induced through specific treatment during study and which was because of variation in genotype. Hence; I would like to add in the protocol that all the research subjects (chickens here) should be; purchased from same breeder, of same breed and better if are siblings.
