Introduction
In order to develop a Project Management a proper strategic planning is required. A project plan is a sequence of certain formal documents that elucidate the execution as well as implementation and control certain stages of a project. The plan should deal with the contemplation for resource, risk management and communication.
Thereby, this also includes efforts of the staffs, scope, quality, milestones, schedule baselines, timing and human factor issues. Therefore, in order to plan all these things, proper guidance is highly required in order to execute the plan successfully. The goal of the plan should be well defined with progressive set up as well as constructive dealing with a productive team and a motivating manager.
Question and Answers:
a)
Effort is the number of works performed to complete a task required in a unit. The elapsed time on the other hand is the total time duration spend from the start of the work until its end. Therefore, in a simpler term effort is the number of clock-based hours spend by a worker by concentrating on the specific task in order to get a certain job done. Elapsed time can be traced out by milestone as it the time phrase between designating a resource to a task as well as completion of that specific task. As stated by Pospieszny, Czarnacka-Chrobot and Kobylinski (2018), the implementations of proper effort level as well as elapsed time duration estimation are intended to be bestowed with a decision support tool for any organisation that develops software systems.
b)
There are certain factors, which reduce the staff availability and it includes the work environment, employee wellness, process and setting up the proper goals. A productive workforce is the key engine behind any successful IS business. Therefore, the key factors mentioned above should be checked properly in order to reach the target and goals with a breeze. As stated by Invernizzi, Locatelli and Brookes (2017), the management should manage the social challenges faced by their employees and produce several responsible approaches towards better performance.

It is very important for any IS companies to win business and in order to follow this statement; they need to offer competitive pricing. For example, the major factors that affect the price estimating are the complexities of the project, the scale, scope and the method of constructions, market conditions and many more. The problem that arises here is that the estimator in a proposed team focuses at the requirements and come up with the belief to be a realistic estimate. Hence, they often fail to remain stick to their gunpoint in term of pricing and seem to compromise with the cost factors. As stated by Aragones-Beltran, Garcia-Melon and Montesinos-Valera (2017), the project managers in this regard should be tight enough to control the project and apply considerable drives to push the project forward.
b)
Several strategies should be implemented in order to overcome these issues. For example, firstly, the estimators need to understand the local market price and then can tag the price rate before presenting the software systems, ensuring that the estimates have been thoroughly researched and to be based on realistic metrics. They should also understand the sensitive customer price and accordingly can decrease it to increase the profit rate. Secondly, they should identify the customers’ interest for a specific brand and accordingly can present systems before them. As stated by Shengnan and Nedelea (2019), the distribution channels should be specified and finally, the time, location for promoting the event should be mentioned clearly.

Every project has certain dependencies, which can be defined as the relationship between the products and the task, as any activities cannot get started until the previous activity is done. There are several types of project dependencies in every IS project management, which highlight the relationship between the task. Firstly, finish to start the project, which implies that the first assigned and targeted task need to be completed before the second task get started. Secondly, the second targeted task cannot be successfully completed until and unless the first task has been done.
Thirdly, the following tasks cannot be commenced until the first task has started. Finally, the first task must start before the second task. As mentioned by Meng and Boyd (2017), since the project dependencies are often shown in the Gantt Charts or Bar charts,...
