a supermarket alter the traditional analysis? Is this position similar to an ordinary vending


machine? It would seem that the traditional position must remain since it is the customer


who is making the offer when presenting the goods to the self-service checkout and it is the


machine that is accepting the customer’s offer on behalf of the supermarket.
