There are different IT failures that have affected the organization in a negative manner such as PSA Airlines’s crew scheduling and tracking system failure, Fiat Chrysler (cruise controller problem) Telstra software problem, a ransomware attack, and Heathrow disruption. All these IT failures affect the different stakeholders that are involved in the products. There are a number of reasons behind the failure of a project such as poor communication, underestimating the consequences of change, lack of leadership and lack of strong executive sponsorship or the failure of technology. Any kind of dependency that resides in the project affected the success of the project such as the problems that are listed in this discussion has technology dependency and dependency upon the different stakeholders or the communication between the different stakeholders that is why the consequences were worse [1]. The officials of the organisation come into play when the implementation of the IT project is planned in the organisation. Such as the decision to bring the change in the organisation is the foremost responsibility of the executives who are responsible for bringing a change in the organisation. In this section the different values related to the IT has been discussed the very first failure is it related to the failure of scheduling and tracking system at airlines that affected the millions of customers of this airlines nearly 3000 flights were cancelled or seven days in the year of 2018 and the cost of US $35 million was wasted due to this failure in the technology. According to the officials there was an issue in the connectivity and thousands of customers suffered due to the failure of the through scheduling and tracking system. The second failure related to the technology that is discussed in this discussion is the failure of the cruise controller system of Fiat and to combat the negative consequences of this failure the owner of this company recalled 5.3 million multiple car models to fix the bug on the cruise control issue. 1,54,000 minivans were also recalled by this glitch in the system and coding and it was supported in the system. The third failure that is discussed under this section is related to the software problem at Telstra that affected the 3G and 4G services nationwide for millions of customers who are interested in the services of Telstra. This problem was reported in the year of 2018 and it affected the brand image of the organisation in a negative manner.
