Submission Part B: Due by 11:55pm AEST/AEDT Friday of Module 6.2 (Week 12) Weighting Part B: 10% Total Marks 10 marks Task Summary In this Assessment, you will assume the role of a decision marker responsible for the development and review information system policies in an organisation and write a 500-word review for the policy pitch given by another student. Please refer to the Task Instructions for details on how to complete this task. Context This individual assignment is designed to develop student’s capability to manage the various aspect of information systems through information systems policies. Information system policy and procedures are developed, implemented and administered to help organisations to streamline the processes in the acquisition, development, implementation and operation of information systems adopted in the organisations and mitigate potential risks pertaining to the usage of information systems. In Assessment 3 Part B you are required to critique the policy pitched by your peers (video in Part A.) You are required to apply your understanding of relevant concepts and principles and provide feedback on the policy pitched by another student. Instructions: Assessment Task In Part B of Assessment 3, your role is switched to a policy maker responsible for the development of policies pertaining to information systems. In your review, you should provide constructive feedback for the following aspects of the pitch: • the extent to which the pitch demonstrated a solid understanding of the basic concepts of information systems and its role in an organisation; • the extent to which the pitch has given due deliberation on the relevant political, economic, sociocultural and technological factors; • the extent to which the pitch is aligned with ethical, professional standard and complied with legal requirement; • the structure of the video; • the effectiveness of communication; • any other aspects of the pitch that have room for improvement; General Assessment Requirement Incomprehensible submissions.
