Xfinity has been around for many years and could be thought of as one of the top internets and cable organizations. Xfinity dominates many cities for cable keeping other cable companies out which only leaves customers with either Xfinity as cable or using one of the satellite companies like Dish. Over the years the organization has started out as just cable in 1963, moving to internet, cell phone, home phone and home security (Anderson, 2018).

When it comes to internal and external environment every organization must have plans for both. Internal environment focuses on the employees while external focuses on the customers and outside factors of the organization. Implementing any kind of changes for the way an organization handles internal practices must benefit the organization and the employees as a whole all while following a specific path (Halkos and Bousinakis, 2012).

Organization must focus on both internal and external environment in order to be successful. Having happy employees help with running a successful organization. Having happy employees starts with having the leaders of the organization keeping up with the times and technology that could help the operations run smoother as well as ensuring the employees jobs are able to perform their jobs easily and efficiently.

Xfinity has worked hard with its internal and external focus with both employees and customers. Customers have a variety of services to pick from that include just one of the products and service or what they call double or triple by bundling two or three services with a two year commitment from the customers for a two or more year price lock price guarantee. Internal focus with the employees is about diversity and inclusion with the organizations values of doing the right thing and treating people right, respecting others, entrepreneurial spirit, and giving back to the community (Comcast, 2020).

Thank you Marcus for he discussion. Indeed Walmart is a well established organization with facilities in many countries. But then a question to you Marcus, from your view, has the organization adapted well to its internal, and external environments?

Thanks,

Good evening Dr. A and class,

I hope everyone is well and ready to kick off this last week of this class. I appreciate you all for the knowledge and communication shared and wish you all the best and success within your programs and finishing strong future DOCTORS!!

So the company that I have been working with the last five weeks is Walmart. Walmart is a company that offers everything anyone can possibly need for the most part from personal, to children, household items and much more. What makes Walmart special and easy to market is its simple motto to ensure that they have prices that everyone can afford for the most part 'Everyday Low Prices'. This is a simple slogan that brings many cultures and socioeconomic statuses because what they can provide for the average household. When it comes to Organizational Flexibility Walmart is good at ensuring to adapt to the constant changes in the market to ensure they are marketable. For example they are able to deliver groceries and also have the grocery pickup which is very useful now and during the season changes. Walmart is very good at understanding who to market and when to market as well. Atlhough, Walmart recieves compliants about customer service and other things people continue to shop at the organization simply because of the prices and even on-line. Walmart being so open to changing and adapting to the different things to make customers happy has continued to grow its market.

Walmart is not a democracy; however, it does offer transformational leadership in order to allow others to work their way up and become leaders in the same organzaition. This helps all employees have the opportunity to make their job a career and a chance to establish and reach goals while employeed in the organization.

I will stand by Walmart with this simply because they have continued to grow and change when it comes to adpating to what other organizations offer such as Amazon and Target. It may not be my favorite of all time, but it has conitued to have everything we need to raise our family.

The company that I chose is Wells Fargo. In 2016 Wells Fargo was one of the banks that was a part of a major scandal of fraudulent sales practices. Wells Fargo will need to undergo organizational changes in the Human resource department in order to regain their reputation and loyalty to their customers. The scandal affected the success of the company. Wells Fargo is still feeling the effects of the scandal but they have accounted for their eras and by changing leaders the company has regained some of their reputations as being a trusted bank. (Cavico, & Mujtaba, p. 4). If the bank wants to be successful again they need to understand the factors that impacted the success of the organization. The Wells Fargo bank is known for having negative effects within and outside the company therefore they will need to examine their internal and external environment in order to survive because the bank has undergone changes in leadership and is repairing their reputation. According to Verschoor, (2016) states, “An important part of the effort to prevent wrongdoing is the presence of an ethical culture permeating the company at all levels. An established ethical culture helps ensure that employees will resist any pressure or temptations to compromise ethical standards.” (p. 20). One again Wells Fargo is considered to be a trusted and honest bank many customers are enjoying the customer’s services that the bank has to offer. The bank has done a good job of adapting to the internal and external environment to survive. The bank implemented the changes that were needed to remain successful. After a major scandal, the bank was able to remain successful. It is very important for an organization to adapt to ant citation that may occur to increases the sustainability and success of the company.

This post discusses the internal and external atmosphere of an organization. The organization that has been taken into reference is the Xfinity. The post rightly said that the internal and external environment both is very important for the success of the organization. Both the employees and customers are very much given importance by the organization. This is very good and beneficial for the success in the near future.
It is true that the employees have a very important contribution to organizational development. The organization needs to make the employees happy and satisfied so that they can involve in the different functions within the organization (Aman, 2017). On the other hand, if the products and services are good then it can also attract more customers to the organization. This is a great strategy to be adopted by any organization and that is the reason why Xfinity is doing very well in the market background.
