Mark was in a terrible car accident that destroyed the area of his brain that coordinates his movement, his cerebellum. After the accident, Mark's movements are very uncoordinated as a result of the damage. However, after months of movement therapy and practicing normal patterns of movement, he is able to coordinate his movements fairly well once again. Explain (using a concept from the book/lecture):1) Why Mark is able to coordinate his movements again even though the brain area responsible for this movement has been destroyed? (name the concept)2) DescribeWHY therapy & practice helped Mark regain movement in his legs.
