Maria dela Cruz immigrated to South Korea when she was a child. She initially found the winters to be intolerably cold. After graduation, she took a job as a bike messenger which forced her to spend many hours outside. She is now so comfortable in winter that she often only needs a sweater and hat, even on the coldest of days. When Maria had children of her own, would you expect that they would be as comfortable in the cold as their mother is? Why or why not?
